WHAT IS ACADEMY?

A Soccer 'ACADEMY' is a team made up of NTSSA registered recreational players whose playing age group designation is U7 to U10 who desire to participate with other players without following the recreational team formation rules.

These ACADEMY Players MUST register with a member association in order to be reported as an NTSSA sanctioned player. Only sanctioned players may participate in any events and tournaments that are sanctioned by North Texas State Soccer Association. They may or may not be on a recreational team.

PURPOSE OF AN ACADEMY

Provide players who have aspirations of becoming a more accomplished player an avenue to test and enhance their skills.
Provide players an opportunity to train with experienced coaches.
Provide players an opportunity to investigate the level of play with which they are comfortable, which players they would like to play with, and for which coaches they would like to play for.

Step 1

Register as an Academy Player (Fall2024/Spring 2025) by clicking the link. Proof of birth MUST be uploaded into the player profile for all players.
**Only valid for U7-U10 aged players.

Players should ONLY be registered by a parent or guardian, not managers or coaches.

Step 2

Once registered, please allow 24-48 hours for TSA to approve and send email confirming form approval.

Access the approved form in your GotSport account under "Forms" then "Past Forms". There will be a small pdf icon for them to open and download the form.
